1.1 Overview of the Five-Axis CNC Grinding Wheel Dressing Machine
The Five-Axis CNC Grinding Wheel Dressing Machine is specially designed for the precise shaping and dressing of diamond or CBN grinding wheels used in CNC tool grinding applications.
1.2 Versatile Dressing Parameters
This machine can accommodate various dressing and grinding parameters based on the performance and particle size of the grinding wheels. It is capable of dressing the inner surface, outer peripheral surface, outer surface, angled surfaces, and arcs of the grinding wheel. The dressing results exhibit excellent consistency, stability, and reliability.
1.3 Standard Video Measurement System
The CNC grinding wheel dressing system is equipped with a standard video measurement system, which includes both measurement and storage functions. The standard configuration features a variable magnification lens. The lens and camera are protected by a transparent acrylic cover. For customers with specific requirements, special lenses and higher-resolution cameras can be selected.
1.4 DXF Drawing Integration and Measurement
During the dressing process, users can open DXF format drawings or create graphics based on the built-in drawing function. The system allows comparison-based dressing of the grinding wheel and can measure deviations between the actual size of the grinding wheel after dressing and the theoretical curve.
1.5 Preloaded Grinding Wheel Graphics
The measurement software comes with a set of commonly used grinding wheel shapes, which can be easily called up and edited as needed.
1.6 Automated Dressing Process
Once alignment is completed through the measurement software, the CNC dressing system automatically rotates the dressing wheel, reciprocates, feeds, and adjusts the C-axis rotation servo angle for the SIC dressing wheel. The Z-axis feed position is displayed on the CNC control system.
1.7 Dressing Mode
The dressing process can be performed in both automatic and manual modes, offering flexibility based on user preferences.
1.8 Sealed Hood and Environmental Protection
The machine is equipped with a sealed hood, which supports dry, water mist, and wet dressing methods. The sheet metal hood, along with a 10mm thick acrylic arc door, ensures the machine meets functional, safety, and cleanliness requirements.
1.9 Dust and Fluid Management
The dressing machine is equipped with both a dust extraction port and a grinding fluid return port. Customers can opt to add a vacuum cleaner and a grinding fluid filter box for enhanced dust and fluid management.
